Today, more than ever, outcries for eco-friendly moves are getting stronger. Good thing, a lot of people from across the globe are in the loop, too. They are making little movements here and there to help Mother Earth recuperate and using a cleaner source of energy for a start.

Various countries have connived to stop using fossil fuels that are causing stress to the environment and resort to cleaner sources such as wind, geothermal, solar, and hydro. Countries like Costa Rica, Denmark, and Portugal are some of those that are generating their own fuels from friendlier sources.

Costa Rica started moving towards the green revolution since it started running on renewable energy just this year, 2016. Denmark, for its part, has more impressive contributions, having able to generate 140% of renewable energy, which they even get to share with neighbouring countries. Portugal is another new recruit, tested running on renewable energy for four consecutive days in May 2016 and did fairly well.

More countries are expected to follow suit in the years to come. As different companies are starting up efforts to do the same, it is expected that cleaner energy sources will become a standard. And when everyone is finally able to say goodbye to dirty energy, it will definitely become a better world to live in.
